Boy Genius Chapter 7 has been added to the site. To be changed if/when the Yahoo Group members bring anything to my attention.
-TD: I think it's good.-
Yes, but you think anything I write on you is good.
-TD: Oh, trust me, not everything.-
*frown* Yeah, I suppose a certain part in the upcoming fight sequence won't leave you feeling rosy. . . .
-VDM: *shudder* Can we not talk about it?-
-RPD: *attempts to pat shoulder* Don't worry, kid, it'll be okay. At least you get to stay coporeal.-
-TD: Well, you'll be returning to that state yourself around Christmas.-
-RPD: I know. It'll be weird, being coporeal again. I've gotten used to floating through objects.-
You WILL be able to switch between states. You don't HAVE to stay coporeal.
-RPD: It would be nice to eat again. . . .-
-M: I think you're just jealous that we get to eat all the ice cream.-
-RPD: There's an element of that, yes.-
Heh. Well, anyway, got that posted, moving onto Chapter 8, which is one of the most BTTF-related chapters in the bunch. I have Emmett come up with the flux capacitor and do the Clara/Doc scene from Part III.
-TD: *happy sigh*-
-DW: Noticed the plot bunnies are a bit more trilogy-based nowadays.-
I did just watch all three. And you'll notice there's a number of "Clara meets the other girls" there too.
-DW: *chuckle* I did. That must be awkward.-
-D: I'm surprised ours get along so well.-
You have to remember, you're all different, even if you're all the same guy. I'm sure Clara would freak at the thought of being married to a Doc from an insane asylum, even if he's a nice Doc like you, VampDoc2.
-VD2: *wince* Quite possible. I'm glad the one you put us with is tolerant.-
-VD: Actually, I think she's referring more to a Clara like
foxywriter's.-
Yeah. In fact, I think almost any other author's imagining of the Brown family would be as confused as HECK if they stumbled into any of my AUs. The only exception I can think of off-hand is
bttfbabe, what with Candace and the evil ghosts.
-E: Oh, her versions would get along SWIMMINGLY with us. You wouldn't be able to separate Holly and Candace.-
-H: *beam*-
Although -- I might be able to freak them out too. *smiles engimatically at Doc and Marty*
-D: *annoyed* Stop that!-
Visited Strangetown, as is the norm -- Ariana Roase is still doing fine. Had a nice healthy breakfast and got in some TV before work.

Quick shot of her nice watch -- I've REALLY gotta get Twin Oaks Park Emmett to a mirror next time I play so he can get one.

Work was uneventful -- so uneventful that I decided to risk something. I got Ari cleaned and greened, then it was off to Bluewater Village and Tyke's Tower Toys! Yes, my computer hates community lots (a reason I'll be holding off on Pets for a while), but hey, one Sim, can't be as bad as four.

Tyke's Tower Toys was buzzing with Sims, despite the shelves being empty. I've got to remember that most of these lots are supposed to be OWNED by player-Sims. Ah well, Ariana had fun anyway. She caught up with Gypsy Lloyd and had a nice chat about the judicial system.

And also told a joke about toys, which I thought was very appropriate.

After Gypsy left, Ariana proceeded to cook up what looked like some very weird hot dogs. . . .

But no! They're tacos! :D A new custom food I downloaded.

Ariana served them up, then sat down to eat with Olive Specter. Imagine my shock when they got along, as Olive is an old, cranky woman (got furious with some townie off-camera).

I was further surprised when Jim Ignatowski showed up! He rejected Olive, then stole her seat and taco. Closest thing he and Ari will get to a real date for a while.

This backrub will be the closest they get to flirting, too -- though that's mostly because I spotted Mystie on the lot as well. I'm really hoping for a semi-amiable breakup between Mystie and her former lovers -- jealousy sucks.

-VD: Just don't ask my Simself to ever be friends with the fireman.-
Heh, not a problem. Ariana bounced on the couch, then headed back home for a short dip in the pool.

Then it was back to studying cooking for a bit -- she's finally up to three. Once she gets another promotion, I'll buy her a stove.

In the meantime, though, she's able to access a rather interesting dinner option. Along with the tacos, I also downloaded a banana split sundae. I thought it would appear under desserts, but nope -- dinner! Curious, I had her mix one up.

Yummy, huh? Ariana thought it would make a better pillow.

I woke her up to finish it, then sent her to bed.
-RPD: You worked on Eureka too, I hope.-
Oh yeah. Built up the "Shoppes and Thinges" lot, which is basically the local shopping plaza:

Exterior shot -- I must have chosen all of the hilliest terrains when designing this neighborhood! This particular lot sloped down -- I turned it into a cliff overlooking a pond.

Shots of all the stores -- I built the basic shape so they'd all be identical, then simply varied the theme. The first one is a Storybook purple and blue-themed clothing store with mini-arcade, the second is a European green and beige-themed grocery, and the third is a red and gold-themed video store with mini-arcade. I even built all the roofs myself -- I like how they turned out.

The "backyard," with a MyShuno and a multicolored swingset -- I noticed the swings all matched the stores. :)

And a better view of the pond, with plant life.
-RPD: You're really getting into this.-
I am! :) Still aways to go with the community lots, but it's coming together, slowly but surely. I'll be designing the families soon.
-OD: Do they have names now?-
The family with kids will be called Carter, since the main character of the show Eureka is called Jack Carter. Still not sure about the others.
Okay, now to get some more "V.D." revisons done, and figure out what I'm doing with the page o'sprites. Can't seem to get DevilMarty right.
-VuM: So skip him and move on. Will you be able to fit everybody?-
*looks at page* Maybe -- I'm willing to give up Marty's Insanity if necessary.
-M2: Yeah, we really don't have an Insanity.-
You do hang out with Doc.
-D: Hey!-
You know I find it hot.
-OD: *tentacles hiss* Still. . . .-
-TD: I think it's good.-

Then again, we (or, well, Doc and Marty and AL at least) already met your AUs. :p
