I've Been Working on the Railroad

-OD: Actually, we have. *tentacles nodnod*-
Oh? What happen, the Time Train tracks come loose or something?
-D: Recent changes in temperature caused some of the wood to warp, and one of the tracks got slightly bent for some reason. We changed out the bad wood and straightened out the track.-
-TD: *wipes face* Hot work. Good thing a good number of us have super strength.-
-VD: Yes, it certainly came in handy. And Role Play Doc was kind enough to let us use him for air conditioning.-
-RPD: *slightly embarrassed* Well, I felt bad about not really being able to help.-
-VD2: Trust us, cooling us off was a GREAT help.-
*gets refreshments for everybody* Well, I suppose I should be glad you had a busy afternoon.
-DW: It was fun in a weird way. We're working on adapting the DeLoreans' security measures to the train. It may be harder to steal, but better safe than sorry.-
Yeah, good point.
-OD: So what have you been up to?-
Sims and "The Gift and the Curse" for the most part, though I just started typing up more of "Boy Genius" Chapter 10.
-DW: Don't forget the story organizing.-
-VD: Or the "V.D." edits -- you have about a week to get Chapter 3 up.-
I know, I know. I'll get to work as soon as I'm done here.
-RPD: What are the sim updates?-
You're in luck, we have two:
A
revison_doc update -- in leiu of a date, April rushed the Greek House successfully. I plan for the next update from them to be Linda getting in and Dave entering the Secret Society.
And an Eureka update! The
revison_doc update was relatively short, so I headed over to Mad Hill Valley and designed Darkness Falls.
-VD+VD2: *interested* What does the Eureka version look like?-

Exterior -- I couldn't find any black, so I went with red "spotlights." I also used a different grass pattern, put in gloomy-looking trees, and two hot tubs.

Interior -- I went with a dark blue and black theme, with splashes of red. We have a bar, a dance floor, and an electrosphere. Basically, just a fun place to hang out.
-VD: Doesn't look too much like the "real" one -- though I can't say I miss that creepy mural.-
LOL, yeah. It's a stylized approach -- the real Darkness Falls is part restaurant, while this one isn't. And there's less blue in the real one. It's just the doors I used didn't come in black.
-VD2: *nodnod* It looks fine. What's next for Eureka then?-
AlphaBetaZeta -- which is the Narbonics nightclub -- or I finally create the Villager family the Carters.
-RPD: People! This should be interesting.-
-DW: Still no idea for names for the others?-
I'm tempted to use Tannen for the single Villager. Not so sure about the married couple yet, though.
And finally, I proclaim this person funny: Josh Way, AKA Romeorhino. He does a series called "Fun With Shorts" on Youtube, in which he mocks old 50s shorts MST3K style. He's pretty darn good -- his latest on a short about congress is hilarious. Go watch his stuff and hope he gets a director's account so he can put up longer stuff.
martyfan, you and DADJ have to watch the "This is Coffee!" short. You HAVE to.
Okay, off to finish the stuff on "The Gift and the Curse," then maybe color in a sprite or two.
-OD: At last.-
-VuM: Don't forget about ours.-
I won't, I promise.
