There's a fireworks display at the Inkwell, so that's where the boys are. I'll be joining them shortly.

Pretty uneventful 4th -- Rift was quiet. Doc did a little threading with JD, though. He's just learned of the existence of a little movie called "Back To The Future." XD Of course, since the Doc I play is a WAY AU version of Doc Brown, this will cause much confusion. I am also dubbing Aubrey and Farley the "Doc Brown Fanclub." :p

I did update revison_doc. Slight change of plans in who had the barbeque -- I decided that, while I was moving Linda and Dave into houses, Dave could have the party. Went off without a hitch. :) And I decided to mix things up a little and put Dave in the Journalism career instead of the Business one. After all, my fanon Dave works at a publishing house.

This is turning out to be movie weekend -- I watched "Enchanted" this morning, then the MST3K episode "Manos: The Hands of Fate" tonight over sundaes with Mom and Dad. It was freaking hilarious to see the reactions of the muses that had never seen it. Reminder to self, get Victor to watch the "Mr. B Natural" short. THAT should be good for some laughs.

I expect some minor level of "WTF?!" when Rift!Doc finds out just how different his movie counterpart is. Good (ideas for the time machine; warnings about what not to do) or bad (the movieverse versions of Doc and Marty never went to Arcadia; things that do happen to Doc), it'll be interesting.

...And considering I'm making tiny efforts to get Farley to find out about same movie via JD...

I expect some MAJOR levels of jealousy. Canon!Doc never had to go through the stuff Rift!Doc did. I mean, sure, he'll make use of what information he can get, but still. . . . Not to mention it'll probably rachet up his "I miss Marty" angst to new heights.

LOL, that'll be interesting. Poor Farley. :p
