I really don't know what happened. Maybe I used up my allotment of intelligent thought Friday and Saturday. Watching the Rift "explode" again is kinda mentally exhausting too. War is never fun.
So. What say I just show off pictures of my castle project and then do some fanfic so the muses don't get on my ass too bad?

Level one of the castle, now with actual flooring and wallpaper! I also added a moat, the royal carriage, and a greenhouse. (You may also notice I went up a picture size for this)

Level two. Level one is the more public area, while level two is kinda the "living quarters" for everyone.

The royal greenhouse. I was going to put this INSIDE the castle, in the courtyard, but it wouldn't let me put the fruit trees in. So it got stuck outside.

The inner courtyard. I don't like how dark it is, considering it's open-air, but I don't know what to do about it. Has a pool, and I'll be setting up a grill area.

What I've done of the kitchen. What do you think of my custom fireplace stove? Also, I'm being evil and limiting the appliances they can have for now. It's a weird little electricity-light steampunk world. At least until the Madboys get to work.

A tower bathroom. In my defense, I wanted to leave ENOUGH space. I can probably stick vanities and stuff in the upper level ones, but I'm not sure what to do for these lower levels.

And that's that. Now to do some more on "Corpse Mask," I hope. Come on, brain, I slept in until 11:30!
-D: To be fair, you went to bed at 2.-
Begone from this place, logic.

Did you try the move_objects cheat to get the trees inside? That's how I start making AL's basement cuz the game won't let me put the stairs on terrain (I can't put floor tiles 'til I get the right depth for the stairs otherwise part of them either stick up too high or too low).

I thought about it for a second, but I didn't know if doing that would end up killing off the trees. I want them to actually be able to harvest food. (Sims gardening junkie here.)

Hmm well now I'm curious. Excuse me while I try it. I'll be back in a bit. *dashes off to SimsLand*

Things grow normally with no access to outside stuff. ^^ Though your second floor may have a greenhouse roof in it. :)

Oooo, interesting. I'll have to remember that in the future. Tanku! ^^
