This is actually deliberately missing one, but you'll be seeing him soon once I post the appropriate 30Kisses fic.
-TTV: *eyes list* Why are "split personality" and "insane" in separate entries?-
Separate ideas. Let me give a bit of background:
-->ReaperVictor is from a planned threesome fic where the Grim Reaper ends up playing a part
-->Split Personality Victor and Possessed/Haunted Victor are two sides of the same coin -- I had an idea back in the day of there being an alternate side of Victor who was a bit more headstrong less shy, called "James." In Split Personality, this was a genuine split personality; in Possessed/Haunted, it was the ghost of his dead twin brother making life difficult. In both cases the James personality eventually got split off and hooked up with Emily
-->Suicide With Victoria was an idea I had back before I just decided to go with the whole "threesome" angle, where Victoria and Victor both went down to the Land of the Dead and decided to do the Wine of Ages ceremony together because they liked it better. That had a touch of Emily/Bonejangles to it.
-->Insane Victor is the guy who got the "writing on the walls" thing -- he ended up going slightly nuts after realizing no one properly understood him anymore. I have yet to think of an end to that particular idea, since it was mostly the image of Victor drawing a huge mural on the wall that got me.
-->Solicitor's Ward Gone Canon was that depressing 30Kisses Fic So Close, But Still So Far. I figured it deserved a mention.
-->Dr. Victor Horrible is from that Corpse Bride/Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog crossover that keeps popping up and bugging me every so often. The idea that will not die!
-->BTTF-Verse Victor was inspired by me reading the info on the LJ RPG [livejournal.com profile] permanent_way. Basically, it's an 80s Victor who moved from England to California a few years before the movie and became friends with Doc and Marty. He goes along on the first time trip, and I'm trying to figure out how to get him in Parts II and III, just for fun.

Naturally, don't expect to see EVERY Victor on the list -- all the Docs I've written in one way or another, but a couple of the Victors are from old ideas I keep around just for fun. Neither of the "James"/Victors are liable to make an appearance, for example.

And now, sleep.

Well, I can only find one omission from the Doc-list, and that one fairly minor (what do you call the other, non-vampire Doc from Night and Day, anyway?) - besides that, the list seems fairly comprehensive. I remember reading about most of them, and can think of a couple I need to go read again. :-)

As for the Victors, I like the sound of "Dr. Victor Horrible", having just got around to seeing DHS-AB not that long ago, and liking it quite a bit. Can't wait to see what you do when you get ahold of the idea (though I can imagine a few possibilities ;-) ) Also, would the "Train Troubles" version you mentioned not long ago be Solicitor’s Ward Victor, Dropped-Off-The-List-Accidentally Victor, or Dropped-Off-The-List-Deliberately Victor?

*facepalm* Damn it, I keep forgetting that poor guy. (Night and Day NonVampire Doc?) Though I wonder if that means I should have also put in the insane Doc from "The Abominable Doc Brown." *ponders* Is it obvious I'm addicted to AU?

Dr. Horrible is awesome and I really ought to see about buying the DVD. Though I'm not sure how I'd write it -- the plot I came up with was basically the same, just with CB characters in the roles -- Victor as Horrible, Emily as Penny, Barkis as Captain Hammer (and wouldn't he be PERFECT for the role?) and poor Victoria gets Moist. If I could figure out a way to steampunk it up properly. . . .

"Train Troubles" is Solicitor's Ward Victor -- the reason they're on the train is to visit a cousin of Alice's in San Francisco. :)

The key to not just retelling the Dr. Horrible story, I think, would be to add a story thread that differentiates your story from the original, ideally putting the original outcome in question. For example, I once read a fic that rewrote "Ocean's Eleven" using the characters from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", and followed the film quite closely - except that the author made it appear that Rusty/Wesley was betraying the team to Terry/Riley's security team. It was quite good.

In your own story, making Moist into Victoria adds the possibility - strike that, the certainty - of romantic tension and confusion amongst the characters, which could be resolved any number of ways - though I can certainly guess where your initial inclination will go ;-) - without affecting the main plot until the very end.

As for steampunking it up, you've already proven quite good at handling "Girl Genius" crossovers, and Dr. Horrible seems like he'd fit that kind of a universe quite well. Come to think of it, though, he'd fit "Narbonic" even better. Hmm . . . there may be a post or fic in this. Research Time!

(And by "Research", I mean, "Re-reading the "Lovelace Affair" arc.)

O.o Now THERE'S an interesting crossover. People come up with the weirdest stuff (and I say that knowing I come up with some of it.)

Yeah, I always saw Victoria "Moisture Maiden" Everglot as having something of a crush on her "boss," but -- honestly, it's never really become a full-on STORY for me. I just have random snippets of the characters singing the songs and acting out certain bits. And the idea for a joke trailer with Corpse Bride clips and the Dr. Horrible audio. And the urge to give Victor Horrible a LJ and use him in an RPG or something. (Evil brain!) Maybe someday, if I can round up all the loose plot threads. . . .

Oh, he'd definitely be good in "Narbonic." (And the "Lovelace Affair" arc's one of my favorites. :D The Symposium is AWESOME.)
