Free Ice Cream Day!

crossover_chickI got myself a Forbidden Chocolate cone from Friendly's. :D

It was -- if a touch icy, for some reason.
-TTV: It's ice cream.-
I mean actually little bits of ice. I dunno, maybe it was an effect of the rush -- free ice cream day is busy.
I also watched "Night at the Museum" again over lunch, with the writer's commentary.
-VD2: Oh, that must have been interesting.-
It was.
In that they obviously had no idea what "commentary" meant.
-VD2: . . . What?-
Practically their entire commentary was TANGENTS. They barely talked about the actual movie at all! It was really surreal, honestly. I mean, they mentioned stuff here and there, but mostly it was them babbling about other movies and scriptwriting software.
-VM: Maybe they weren't getting paid enough to do a real commentary.-
Their opinion seemed to be that nobody would care about their commentary enough to actually listen to it. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow with the director's commentary and see if HE actually stays on-topic.
Not much else happening in the world. The Rift is getting a slew of new players, which means activity's really picking up. Which is a good thing, it just means catching up on my friends' lists takes that much more time. Doc and Victor are staying pretty quiet at the moment, though I've thrown Victor at some Gauche threads. Doc also had an e-mail conversation with Marty concerning the Nexus -- something I've been meaning to do for a while now. Read it here.

-VD2: And I suppose it does count as writing, as it's you playing against yourself.-
Heh. Yeah, Linkara videos smacked my brain around again. Don't worry, though, I'm almost finished with the current batch.
-OD: That site is worse than TV Tropes.-
Oh, come on, nothing's worse than TV Tropes.
-TD: Hey, you can actually stay away from TV Tropes for long periods of time.-
I can stay away from That Guy With The Glasses too!
-TD: No you can't, you check the site every Wednesday!-
That's when he updates! In fact, that's pretty much when everything I read updates, usually. And when we watch "The Brittas Empire." Wednesdays are awesome. :)
