Day 2 of Old West Goodness
Sep. 3rd, 2010 10:04 pmThough Marty's days don't get particularly better. Hiking to Hill Valley, encountering paint thinner alcohol, pissing off Buford Tannen, actually getting caught by him, and nearly hung. Fortunately for him, Doc is a bad ass and saves his life. Unfortunately, Doc also informs him that the gas line he ripped is kind of important. . .
-M: Why can nothing go right?-
Because then there wouldn't be a movie.
In other news, OMG A revison_doc update! I played both his house and the Van Dorts. Not too much happening with either family -- Doc did get a new hairstyle, and I discovered it's not wise to send him to DocBots by himself. The place is just too busy these days. But Martina learned the nursery ryhme, Verne Servo got his Lifetime Want of becoming a Mad Scientist, and Gypsy discovered her One True Hobby is Arts & Crafts, so it's all good. (Oh, and Aspiration-wise, Doc and Gypsy are now both Knowledge/Family, while Verne is Knowledge/Fortune.)
As for the Van Dorts, they're getting settled in. They are a very close family -- the girls are constantly asking to be read to.

Victor did piss off Carla Morte looking through the telescope. But I think it was worth it to see his "amused" face:

And he did discover a new star and get some much needed money into the coffers, so it's all good again.

Oh, yes -- and Lucy Van Dort's One True Hobby? Tinkering. XD The things you learn when you send a kid to study Mechanical. . . .
Okay, now time to get off Chester and give my eyes a quick rest. Later, all!
