Here, let me babble on about the Smith family in Eureka instead of theological quagmires in Corpse Bride.

Having given up on the "challenge" aspect of the neighborhood, the Smiths get some smart milk to teach toddler Robert some skills. Melody successfully teaches him to walk, while Clayton teaches him the nursery rhyme.

Robert scribbling at the toddler/kid table. I have decided I really love this thing. Kid's up to five Creativity already.

A birthday! I decided to age Robert up a day early so that Melody could go back to work. Her hours matched his at school, so there were no worries about that.

Robert the child. He decided to grow up into the pirate costume for some reason. Remind me to get this kid some new clothes.

The family in the morning. Robert's OTH is Fitness, so I expect him to log a lot of hours with that jump rope.

Melody's return to work results in a demotion (sorry, Melody -- I always wore MY Halloween costume to work!), so she tries to take her mind off of things by indulging in her OTH, Nature.

It -- doesn't go well. (If you're wondering what the hell's going on, she's being chased by bees.)

At least she's successfully able to help Robert learn to study.

Melody has a toy-crafting station she works at every so often. Naturally, Robert has a pet brick.

The entire family at play -- Robert at blocks, the adults at chess.
They're a pretty nice family overall. Now I just have to figure out how to add onto the house so that Melody and Clayton can try for another kid.
