-->Chilly one today. My feet froze on the way up there in my sneakers. :(
-->First stop was a shoe store -- Mom wanted to show me some boots she thought I'd like. They didn't fit me, but we found a neat-looking pair that did. Also a pair of dressier shoes, since Mom thought I should have some. Both turned out to be on sale, so I got both for less than the boots themselves would have cost normally. :D
-->Hit Borders next. Bought the next "Darwin Awards" book and the "Dr. Horrible" comics collection. :)
-->Had lunch at Subway -- I had a Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich, Mom had a Chicken Bacon Ranch salad.
-->Visited Newbury's. Picked up Robin Hood: Men In Tights DVD and this weird comic from Wildstorm: "Victorian Undead Special: Sherlock Holmes vs Jekyll/Hyde." Yes. Apparently this is a series as it mentions London having dealt with a zombie problem previously. The whole thing is amusingly schlocky -- I feel like I have my own penny dreadful now. XD
-->Hit Dave & Busters, did a bunch of games. Found out what a certain thing called "Typhoon" was too -- it's a mini motion ride! You insert your credits, pick a scenario, and then you go through it. We experienced being a pinball ball and going through a haunted mine.
-->Got a Hot Float from Ben & Jerry's -- it's basically a hot chocolate with a scoop of ice cream. It tasted all right, but I think I prefer either the plain old hotness of a hot cocoa or the thickness of a milkshake.
-->Came home around 4:30 (we spent a lot of time in Dave & Busters).

So yeah, not a bad trip. :) And I have a movie with new special features to watch tomorrow.
The other thing of note? I've decided that, since Lucy needs a universe, that she can share Simon's. What the hell, right? Muses make sense in a world of zombies and sentient giant squid, don't they? At any rate, the music video pups ought to stick together.

Now, to see if I can get any more first draft prompt fic written for Card Two of Charloft Winter Bingo. . . .

I just had a funny thought. In The Princess and the Frog, Froggy!Naveen wears a butterfly as a bowtie twice in the movie. I had an image of Victor wearing a butterfly bowtie in my head. I know he wears regular neckties but I thought it was funny. :p Have to be a big(ger than average) butterfly, though. Here's (http://fc03.deviantart.net/fs70/i/2010/161/c/9/Princess_and_The_Frog_Wedding_by_CheiftainMaelgwyn.jpg) a painting someone did of the wedding at the end where he's enlisted the help of a white butterfly. :) The first time he had a black one.

LOL! Actually, I've seen concept art of Victor in a (regular) bowtie, and he looks quite cute. A butterfly bowtie could work -- either engineered up or made out of cloth. :D
