The FUTURE -- Is Only Two Years Away O.o

Doc: *gasping* Great Scott! Jennifer could conceivably encounter her future self! The consequences of that could be disastrous!
Marty: *grabbing him* Doc, what do you mean?
Doc: *going into full exposition mode* I foresee two possibilities. One, coming face to face with herself 30 years older would put her into shock and she'd simply pass out. Or two, the encounter could create a time paradox, the results of which could cause a chain reaction that would unravel the very fabric of the space time continuum, and destroy the entire universe! Granted, that's a worse case scenario. The destruction might in fact be very localized, limited to merely our own galaxy.
Marty: *rattled* Well, that's a relief.
There's actually a lot of good quotes from the future section, but I think we all like the "Doc talks about how his invention could more or less destroy the universe" :p
I confess to being rather tired at the moment -- spent the afternoon out and about getting stuff for my Halloween costume. I'm going as a Bioshock Little Sister -- simple costume, but man was it tough to get the dress! Not a lot of places have an appropriate dress. We found one at Saver's, though. And then got some fabric to puff out the skirt a bit and make the collar and suchlike. So yeah, that gets started on tomorrow. :) However, it did mean that I was busy playing the catch-up game most of the afternoon, with the result that I just didn't feel up to tumblr RP tonight. Largely because I suddenly realized I'd never played Alice and I really wanted to and -- yeah. ^^;
So yeah, that's actually where I'm going now -- a little late-night Mysterious East! Just like the good old days. :P I may report back later, we'll see. For now, good night!
