crossover_chickAKA guess what started today? That combined with a late start on the computer more or less killed any chances of moving forward on "Remembering You" today. . .at least I got all my tumblr RP replies queued up. Hooray for drafting over lunchtime.
Gonna keep this one quick because of tired:
-->Work was interesting -- spent the morning fixing up some pledges that had gone wonky, and tracking down some suddenly-missing money from 2015 One-Time Gifts (turns out it was a simple date mix-up). Afternoon was largely fixing up some CAP stuff and helping out with typing figures into a spreadsheet for importing into another program. The life of a Development Assistant. . .
-->Coming up on the last weekend in The Gathering of Roses -- I've summoned the next island in case I need any help maxing my rose totals. Someone's got their Ire dragon in the Co-Op cave, so I'm breeding with it to see if I'll be luckier with it than the Serenity. No dice so far, but might as well try, right?

Date: 2016-02-12 06:47 pm (UTC)Now, the way I figure it, the only way of gathering enough Roses to get the Dragons is if you can still collect them on Monday. If one can cheese the system and manage to breed some of them, well then that's less Roses you need to spend.
The Facebook comments are saying that the Surprise is breedable with any 4 elements. Pepper x Mountain, Hail x Dodo, Mirage x Blue Fire are some examples.
Since the Christmas event officially ended on a Tuesday, I'm hoping that this one does, too. Otherwise I will be very perturbed.
Incidentally, I saw on your tumblr that you're 5'4". You're an inch taller than me. :/ Though you're the same height as Michael J. Fox.

Well, what joy either way. -.- At least I've got friends who keep putting Aura dragons in their Co-Op caves, so I've got a slim chance of breeding at least one of them. (Hell, I'm breeding with a Surprise as we speak.)
Yeah, I figure it will -- Backflip never actually ends their events when they say they're gonna. It doesn't reflect well on their timekeeping, but at least it gives us an extra day.
Am I? Heh -- sorry? ^^; And yeah, I know. Kinda weird when you think about it.

First my computer chugs anyway and naturally women didn't wear pants in those days. Still, long weekend coming (and I have Tuesday also because I have to take my mom to the doctor) so we'll see if I can come up with anything.
